1. About CinemaFreely
CinemaFreely (cinemafreely.com) is a free movie aggregator that indexes publicly available films hosted on YouTube. We do not host any video content. No account or sign-up is required to use the service.
2. Information we collect
CinemaFreely does not collect personal information. We do not require registration and we do not store names, email addresses, or payment details.
We collect limited anonymous usage data for operational purposes:
- Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). Logs are retained for 30 days then deleted.
- Activity logs — anonymised event counts (page views, searches, source clicks). No IP address is stored in activity logs.
- Watchlist — stored entirely in your browser's
localStorage. We never receive or store your watchlist. - Watch history — stored entirely in your browser's
localStorage. We never receive or store your watch history.
3. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. Google AdSense may set cookies for ad personalisation — see Google's advertising policy. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
4. Third-party services
- YouTube — video content is hosted by YouTube. Clicking a movie link takes you to YouTube, subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
- The Movie Database (TMDb) — movie metadata (titles, descriptions, posters, ratings) is provided by TMDb. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
- Google AdSense — we display ads served by Google. Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history.
- Cloudflare — our domain DNS and CDN is managed by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request metadata (IP, headers) subject to the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
5. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. Your watchlist and watch history are stored only in your own browser — you can clear them at any time via your browser's storage settings.
If you are in the EU, UK, Australia, or California and have concerns about data handling by our third-party services (Google, Cloudflare), please refer to those services' privacy policies directly.
6. Children
CinemaFreely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
