1. What CinemaFreely does
CinemaFreely is a search and discovery service. We do not host, store, or upload any video content. All movies linked on this site are hosted on third-party platforms — primarily YouTube — and are publicly available on those platforms. We index links to those third-party videos.
2. Our DMCA Safe Harbor
CinemaFreely complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We qualify for the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA as a service provider that indexes links to third-party content.
If you believe that content linked from CinemaFreely infringes your copyright, please note:
- The video content is hosted on YouTube (or another third-party platform), not on CinemaFreely servers.
- The most effective remedy is to submit a takedown directly to the hosting platform (e.g., YouTube's copyright removal process).
- Once the original video is removed from YouTube, CinemaFreely's link will automatically stop working. Our crawler deactivates dead links automatically.
3. Submitting a DMCA Notice
If you wish to notify us of an allegedly infringing link on CinemaFreely, please send a written notice containing:
- Your name and contact information (email address).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific URL on CinemaFreely that links to the allegedly infringing content.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Send notices to: dmca@cinemafreely.com
We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 10 business days and remove the infringing link from our index.
4. Counter-Notices
If you believe a link was removed from CinemaFreely as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@cinemafreely.com as described in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
5. Repeat Infringers
CinemaFreely will terminate access (e.g., block channel submissions) from repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
