What works without a connection, and what needs one.

Browsing needs a connection — the catalogue is live, so search and movie pages come from the server.
If you go offline, you'll see our offline page rather than a browser error; reload when you're back online.
Watching always needs a connection, since playback happens on YouTube.

The site is light on data by design — posters are optimised, and the dark theme is the default.
